Barrial's Melchor Claude proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Barrial from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 汪延霖 in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Claude prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Inko in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Haritz saved Los Pitingas from getting behind. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cesar Inko sped through Los Pitingas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Haritz. In the last second Melchor Claude throw himself and got hold of the ball when Remigio Etxekopar in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 汪延霖 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Claude having to interfere. Remigio Etxekopar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Barrial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Chus to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute 汪延霖 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Remigio Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melchor Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Etxekopar in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Barrial getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Nestor Sayvion hit a great ball.
