After 30 minutes of play, Independentistak's Israel Ritchie made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anacleto Abadia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anacleto Abadia came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Independentistak's Prospero Tavio. But to his dismay, Prospero Tavio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Aaron Aritza made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bernabe Aires sent off a good shot on target. When Hermengildo Tallia came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Independentistak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Tallia couldn't finish the play. If Hermengildo Tallia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Atletico Regina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independentistak were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Tallia to make the kick off. Hermengildo Tallia was slow to take the kick. During this time Independentistak's players had a chance to rest. Hermengildo Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Abadia having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Silverio Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independentistak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Cambranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Tallia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anacleto Abadia. Hermengildo Tallia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7.
