After 33 minutes, Matias Montel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the mat and the chacarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of chacarita booed when mat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored chacarita's protests and gave Ladislao Luzaide a yellow card for diving instead.
