When Bartolo Koldobika fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club de Avellaneda's protests and gave Bartolo Koldobika a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Racing Club de Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Koldobika. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alfonso Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the mat defense, Victor Erruki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Norino. The mat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Norino should have stopped the shot. Ruperto Norino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uriel Eguzki. With a little luck, mat's Ruperto Norino got control of the ball when Victor Erruki tried to sneak it across the goal line. mat's Ruperto Norino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save mat from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Erruki got free with Ruperto Norino in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Racing Club de Avellaneda's corner Uriel Eguzki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruperto Norino quite easily take care of the ball. Ruperto Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Urbez in the 82nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Joaquim Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Hector Balesio put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of mat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Racing Club de Avellaneda:s goal. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Racing Club de Avellaneda's Uriel Eguzki got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ruperto Norino. Alfonso Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Norino having to interfere. Victor Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. mat were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Racing Club de Avellaneda to leave the ground with a draw.
