When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cristian Lehior sped through Pulila's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nemesio Lluc. In the 27th match minute, River Plate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Lehior to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Lehior in the 31st minute of play forced Pulila's goalkeeper Nemesio Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Bazil during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Lehior in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Lluc saved Pulila from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Maxin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Blas Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Lehior's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Nemesio Lluc skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 56th minute, Prospero Mikolas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Tajo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. River Plate AFC's Amancio Ubelteso was substituted for Hector Cordairo. After 89 minutes of play Pulila's Prospero Mikolas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Guido Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Guido Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Macario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. River Plate AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
