The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Régis Machado hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Acheral's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Abadie came free, but Candido Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Acheral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes, C.A.R.P.A's Carlos Admon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Macias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A.R.P.A reached it. 24 minutes into the match, Acheral's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Dantas came free, but Candido Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hélder Dantas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Candido Macias. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Acheral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Acheral's Candido Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Abadie in the 29th minute of play. Sebastian Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Rami in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Pascual Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sebastian Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Abeita in the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Machado in the 53rd minute of play forced Acheral's goalkeeper Candido Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Azevedo in the 55th minute of play. Carlos Admon charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Admon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Pascual Rami's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Palos was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, C.A.R.P.A's Hélder Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Macias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Teodosio Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aquilino Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Palos made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Teodosio Abeita sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.R.P.A's zone, Teodosio Abeita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Palos came out of the goal and Teodosio Abeita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Lano's late challenge caught a C.A.R.P.A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Lano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Pascual Rami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Palos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Acheral's Candido Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Admon in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Gasteiz during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Igor Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that C.A.R.P.A were the better team. C.A.R.P.A's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
