A collision led to Armstrong getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Chicão Campidelis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Goren in the 29th minute of play forced Aguante Lanus Este II's goalkeeper Armando Egun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicão Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Armando Egun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Anier Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armstrong's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Egun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Egun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Goren's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Anier Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chicão Campidelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Egun having to make a save. In the 45th minute, one of Aguante Lanus Este II:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aguante Lanus Este II. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Benjamin Furtado made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Chicão Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anier Goren in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Egun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Aguante Lanus Este II's zone, Anier Goren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Egun came out of the goal and Anier Goren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chicão Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Armando Egun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Anier Goren made a precise shot to the right of Armando Egun. Aguante Lanus Este II's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Chicão Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Armando Egun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armstrong. In the 78thth minute of the game Anier Goren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguante Lanus Este II's Armando Egun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Anier Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Gorens short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Armando Egun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 93 played minutes Aguante Lanus Este II got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Furtado. When Chicão Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Armstrong fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chicão Campidelis couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Anier Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Egun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aguante Lanus Este II fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Armstrong were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
