Dionisio Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Rafael Obeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Regis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Eusko to make the kick off. Achirense's Dionisio Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Pereyra in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, La Revancha's Rafael Obeko made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Regis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Dionisio Cruz put in a rough tackle. In the 59th minute, one of La Revancha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Revancha. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Achirense. Camilo Maurin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Omar Quirce. 1-2. After a rather tough play, La Revancha's Juan Lorenz got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ubaldo Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Revancha's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Oso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Regis having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Rafael Obeko notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Achirense's Dionisio Regis. Dionisio Regis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Revancha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
