Mamaguita FC's Luisito Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Regis having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, Mamaguita FC's Felipe Salvidor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Regis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luisito Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dionisio Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Eusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Matias Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Felipe Salvidor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dionisio Regis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luisito Gilen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Regis having to make a save. Dionisio Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mamaguita FC's Felipe Salvidor got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Mamaguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Paez. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulises Eusko made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Achirense got a corner. Mamaguita FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Camilo Maurin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Camilo Maurin made a great header on Achirense's corner, it was just that Mamaguita FC's Matias Lopez managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Mamaguita FC's Felipe Salvidor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dionisio Regis. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. Camilo Maurin, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Achirense's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Salvidor came free, but Dionisio Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Mamaguita FC's Felipe Salvidor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dionisio Regis. Dionisio Regis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. If Felipe Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Eusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Achirense's goalkeeper Dionisio Regis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Gilen. In the 81st minute, Mamaguita FC's Felipe Salvidor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. In the 89th minute, Luisito Gilen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Mamaguita FC's Felipe Salvidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Regis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Achirense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Ellande to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Mamaguita FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Achirense throughout the match.
