Club Atletico Talleres's Julian Indalecio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Duarte in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Velez Capo's Jonas Sansone got a free kick in the 14th minute. Müjdat Cömert acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tadeo Salbatore. After a rather tough play, Velez Capo's Froilan Duarte got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kauã Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Müjdat Cömert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Américo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müjdat Cömert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kauã Rossi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Müjdat Cömert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Müjdat Cömert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Rossi went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Velez Capo's Müjdat Cömert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Antunes in the 27th minute of play. Kauã Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Müjdat Cömert made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Duarte to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Duarte got free with Julian Indalecio in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Mauro Javiar put in a rough tackle. In the 62nd minute Rodolfo Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Indalecio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodolfo Flor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Indalecio. That made the score 2-1 in the 65 minute of play. Rodolfo Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Américo Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Müjdat Cömert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Müjdat Cömert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Solustiano during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Velez Capo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Solustiano to maneuver through the defense. Müjdat Cömert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
