Gaudencio Mouricio kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Vicente Lizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Taurino. Ibicuy AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Lizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ampallo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Gaudencio Mouricio scored to the left of an out of position Patricio Gurutz, making the score, 1-1. Patricio Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Kjellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Desiderio Clis fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ampallo's protests and gave Desiderio Clis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ibicuy AFC booed when Ampallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Vicente Lizar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gaudencio Mouricio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Gurutz having to make a save. Gaudencio Mouricio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Gurutz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Mouricio ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Ampallo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ruben Birila hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Ibicuy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Madeo to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Mouricio made a kick off. Ibicuy AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vicente Lizar 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Gaudencio Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Geofredo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Gaudencio Mouricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ampallo's Patricio Gurutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jorge Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibicuy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Txartiko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Gurutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ibicuy AFC's Elliot Kjellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Desiderio Clis came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ampallo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Clis couldn't finish the play. Jorge Txartiko charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Txartiko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Jorge Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Ibicuy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Kjellqvist. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Lizar in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Taurino saved Ibicuy AFC from getting behind. Patricio Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Gurutz having to interfere. Vicente Lizar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristobal Taurino having to make a save.
