Agustin Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Coronel Rolan sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Artemio Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sydney Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Rolan in the 22nd minute of play forced Iguazu FC's goalkeeper Agustin Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coronel Rolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Montay shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 46th minute, Honorio Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Napier to make the kick off. Agustin Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Orlondon in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Artemio Iaki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 63 played minutes Barrancas FC got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Martins. Agustin Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Iaki in the 66th minute of the match. Iguazu FC's Diego Montay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dario Vellito, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Coronel Rolan made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Eztebe. Iguazu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Iguazu FC defense, Coronel Rolan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Eztebe. The Iguazu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Eztebe should have stopped the shot. Agustin Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Rolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Barrancas FC's Coronel Rolan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Harendarski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Iguazu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrancas FC.
