The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kurt Andberg struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ciro Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirmidones. Ciro Blanco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Zelarrayán United's Ciro Blanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Zelarrayán United from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes, Chrestian Thøger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirmidones and the Zelarrayán United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Gartzea got free with Ciro Blanco in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Zelarrayán United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Guido Lucian hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Zelarrayán United's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Gartzea came free, but Ciro Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Blanco made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Bernabe Gartzea sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the game, Angelo Honesto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ricardo Uhin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciro Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Gartzea in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Andberg got free with Ciro Blanco in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelarrayán United's goalkeeper Ciro Blanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leopoldo Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Blanco having to interfere. Kurt Andberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Blanco having to make a save. Robustiano Primo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Ciro Blanco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Quinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. Leopoldo Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Honesto was the one to do the kick off. Laureano Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Blanco having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Zelarrayán United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Primo to maneuver through the defense. If Leopoldo Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zelarrayán United's zone, Salvador Ihintza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Blanco came out of the goal and Salvador Ihintza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Andberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ciro Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Gartzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Gartzea in the 74th minute of play forced Zelarrayán United's goalkeeper Ciro Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Gartzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Leopoldo Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ciro Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Blanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Quinto went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Mirmidones's Bernabe Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zelarrayán United's Ciro Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Ihintza in the 87th minute of play. Laureano Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Leopoldo Quinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Blanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. A collision led to Zelarrayán United getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Baldomero Kaiet hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Mirmidones players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
