Benedicto Otsando hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Beila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Lixandro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Osasun in the 20th minute of play forced BOEDO's goalkeeper Cristo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Melchor Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanavirones FC's protests and gave Melchor Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. Melchor Jorrin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sanavirones FC's Gervasio Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Aimar in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Sanavirones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arın Ferhat Erkılınç to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, George Stoian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anacleto Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Gervasio Lixandro made a huge save. BOEDO were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Sanavirones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciriaco Cuarto took the corner. BOEDO's Ciriaco Cuarto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gervasio Lixandro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute, George Stoian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristo Stephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in BOEDO's zone, George Stoian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Stephen came out of the goal and George Stoian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BOEDO's Cristo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Isadore in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Sanavirones FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sanavirones FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after BOEDO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartolo Osasun took the corner. The corner led Sanavirones FC's Bartolo Osasun to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristo Stephen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Bartolo Osasun took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Cristo Stephen to make any attempt to save it. Bartolo Osasun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristo Stephen having to make a save. Cristo Stephen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Isadore in the 64th minute. Sanavirones FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after BOEDO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartolo Osasun took the corner. Feliciano Isadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cristo Stephen made a huge save. Pablo Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, BOEDO's Cristo Stephen got control of the ball when Feliciano Isadore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cristo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Osasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Stephen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Bartolo Osasun did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Cristo Stephen 78 minutes into the match. Feliciano Isadore struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cristo Stephen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanavirones FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Cuarto during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BOEDO booed when Sanavirones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Otsando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Osasun in the 94th minute of play. George Stoian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cristo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
