Froilan Ugaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Ugaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julio Arotza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ettore Giannetta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Faustino Txomin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Wachibonitos and the Zapala players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Wachibonitos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute Francisco Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Giannetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Grajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ettore Giannetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Grajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Claris's late challenge caught a Zapala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Claris helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Ugaitz in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Zapala's goalkeeper Pedro Primo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Stanislao. After the first half Zapala were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adrian Lauro made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Zapala's Marcelino Birjaio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ettore Giannetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Ladio in the 60th minute of play. Froilan Ugaitz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ettore Giannetta was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Francisco Ladio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Ladio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 67th minute Roman Grajewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Giannetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Faustino Txomin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Julio Arotza from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Ettore Giannetta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 72 minutes into the game, Julio Arotza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ettore Giannetta. Julio Arotza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 76 minutes into the match, Zapala's Esteban Elixio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ettore Giannetta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Adrian Lauro rounded Los Wachibonitos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Esteban Elixio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ettore Giannetta made a huge save. Faustino Txomin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Faustino Txomin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zapala's Julio Arotza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Wachibonitos. 92 minutes into the match, Francisco Ladio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ettore Giannetta. Los Wachibonitos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Ladio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zapala walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
