Celso Gasteiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Elixio went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Zapala's Adrian Lauro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Esteban Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Elixio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 18th minute Amancio Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Club Atletico Polo got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Oidor. It was beautiful to see Zapala's Julio Arotza in action when he in the 22nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 25 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Polo's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Lauro came free, but Celso Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Esteban Elixio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th match minute, Club Atletico Polo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Jusepe to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Elixio struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Celso Gasteiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapala. Esteban Elixio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Zapala's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliberto Estavan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Amancio Criston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zapala's zone, Amancio Criston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Primo came out of the goal and Amancio Criston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Celso Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Celso Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Esteban Elixio made a precise shot to the right of Celso Gasteiz. Club Atletico Polo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 83 played minutes Club Atletico Polo got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Estavan. Club Atletico Polo's Celso Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Lauro in the 87th minute of play.
