In the 7th minute Hilario Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Ganix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Orlondon might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Panpili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Orlondon ran back to his position shaking his head. Fermin Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Generoso Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Panpili having to interfere. Diego Ganix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Tanio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Anier Regis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Cayastá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Guzman came free, but Diego Ganix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Panpili made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Atilano Orlondon sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Enetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Generoso Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Atilano Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayastá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Orlondon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Panpili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilano Orlondon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 36th playminute. 39 minutes into the match, Bernasconi's goalkeeper Generoso Panpili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Orlondon. After having played for 42 minutes, Atilano Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cayastá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Orlondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 minutes, Segundo Kaiet made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cayastá FC's Diego Ganix tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Bernasconi were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Kaiet to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Valentin Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cayastá FC booed when Bernasconi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Eustaquio Odol sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bernasconi's Generoso Panpili didn't even have to move. When Cayastá FC's Marcelo Enetz in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bernasconi's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Enetz in the 60th minute of play forced Bernasconi's goalkeeper Generoso Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Enetz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Dario Moron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segundo Kaiet took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Ganix. Diego Ganix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 80th minute, Valentin Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Ganix was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carolo Christobal. After a rather tough play, Cayastá FC's Fermin Olentzaro got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute, Bernasconi's Maurinho Pires seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maurinho Pires the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bernasconi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maurinho Pires had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bernasconi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Enetz in the 94th minute of play forced Bernasconi's goalkeeper Generoso Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelo Enetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernasconi were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cayastá FC's much stronger midfield.
