Spectators: 7095 (Terracing: 5323, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgilio Inge started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bernabe Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Puelén's Alberto Jerrald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Inge in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Valentín getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Valentin Berdaitz hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ignacio Mattin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Genaro Matei. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Elvio Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Fliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Matei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Valentín's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mattin came free, but Genaro Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Mattin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Matei having to make a save. Genaro Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mattin in the 16th minute of the match. Bernabe Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes, Puelén's Honorio Gaskon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genaro Matei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puelén reached it. Valentín's Genaro Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Fliz in the 27th minute of play. Genaro Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Tajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Quico charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Quico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valentín getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Arsenio Quico hit a great ball. Genaro Matei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Mattin went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ignacio Mattin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Matei. Genaro Matei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Genaro Matei came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Puelén's Ignacio Mattin. But to his dismay, Ignacio Mattin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Mattin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Valentín's Angel Victoro got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Mattin got free with Genaro Matei in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Tajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ignacio Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Genaro Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Victoro's late challenge caught a Puelén's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Victoro helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the game, Puelén's Froilan Laurentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Matei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mattin in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Matei saved Valentín from getting behind. Genaro Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mattin in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Puelén were awarded a corner. Froilan Laurentzi went to the cornerflag to take it. Puelén's Froilan Laurentzi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genaro Matei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ignacio Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Matei having to interfere. When Bernabe Tajo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Puelén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Tajo couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Arsenio Quico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ignacio Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Valentín's Genaro Matei got control of the ball when Bernabe Tajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Valentín's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mattin came free, but Genaro Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Puelén could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valentín throughout the match.
