Spectators: 6947 (Terracing: 5317, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sanford Potts started the match with the kick off. Sanford Potts made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 3rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Luis Bernad would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Americo Bernard hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to Somos Nosotros getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dario Michael hit a great ball. After 10th play minutes Sanford Potts shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Luis Bernad and just under the crossbar into goal. Andres Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Bernard in the 20th minute of play forced La Masía's goalkeeper Andres Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Somos Nosotros booed when La Masía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Gabon in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Martinez saved La Masía from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Somos Nosotros's zone, Higinio Fidencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Bernad came out of the goal and Higinio Fidencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sanford Potts got free with Luis Bernad in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Somos Nosotros booed when La Masía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sanford Potts didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Higinio Fidencio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Bernad. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Americo Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andres Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Lisandro Cordaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Americo Bernard made a kick off. Sanford Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luis Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Bernad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanford Potts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Masía were furious when Tobias Sazon was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Masía! 66 minutes into the match, Sanford Potts notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Somos Nosotros's Luis Bernad. Luis Bernad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sanford Potts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Bernad having to interfere. La Masía's Restu Lariz got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, La Masía's Sanford Potts made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Bernad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Bernad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Pero in the 77th minute of play. Dario Michael hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Lisandro Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Somos Nosotros's goal looked a bit too open when Sanford Potts came free, but Luis Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sanford Potts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Bernad having to interfere. Sanford Potts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Restu Lariz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Bernad. Somos Nosotros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Restu Lariz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Masía had played much better football throughout.
