Spectators: 6630 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gonzalo Confesor got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Manuel Llope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Popoy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Justin came free, but Hernan Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Delmiro Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Popoy AFC defense, Delmiro Justin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Maties. The Popoy AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Maties should have stopped the shot. Manuel Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Maties showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gonzalo Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Aureo having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Wilfredo Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Popoy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Sebastian Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sebastian Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Benedicto Cordarrol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Daireauxa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Popoy AFC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Daireauxa got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Cordarrol. Sebastian Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Confesor in the 66th minute of the match. Gonzalo Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Aureo having to interfere. Chants of Daireauxa echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Popoy AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
