The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Astor Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Barea in the 6th minute of the match. Fulgencio Naldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Lekubegi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pichanal AFC's Jairo Vellito got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Marcial Barea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astor Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Naldo in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Peruxu in the 13th minute of play forced Legends FC's goalkeeper Adrian Emesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pichanal AFC's Astor Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Barea in the 20th minute of play. Fulgencio Naldo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Astor Lekubegi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legends FC. If Marcial Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fulgencio Naldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Astor Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Fulgencio Naldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legends FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Pichanal AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arturo Colon hit a great ball. The Pichanal AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Legends FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Peruxu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Legends FC's Baldomero Bertol got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Marcial Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Lekubegi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 69thth minute of the game Fulgencio Naldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pichanal AFC's Astor Lekubegi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Emesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Legends FC's Fulgencio Naldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Astor Lekubegi. Astor Lekubegi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. A hard shot 78 in the game by Fulgencio Naldo from a close distance when the talented Astor Lekubegi managed to make a qualified save. Pichanal AFC's players were relieved. In the 79th minute, Marcial Barea made a precise shot to the right of Astor Lekubegi. Pichanal AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Emiliano Servando lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Pichanal AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Fulgencio Naldo took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Astor Lekubegi to make any attempt to save it. Astor Lekubegi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Barea in the 98th minute. The Pichanal AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Legends FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
