But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Azibar couldn't finish the play. After 12 minutes, Eugenio Goren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lille Olimpique Sporting and the Funebreros FC ARG players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Eugenio Goren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lille Olimpique Sporting's zone, Bonifacio Pes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Ferran came out of the goal and Bonifacio Pes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Emilio Katia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Kiliz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Lille Olimpique Sporting got a freekick which was hit by Federico Kiliz. Emilio Katia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Ferran came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Funebreros FC ARG's Higinio Azibar. But to his dismay, Higinio Azibar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Funebreros FC ARG's goalkeeper Godfredo Ramone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Araoz. In the 37th match minute, Funebreros FC ARG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. After 46 minutes, Juliusz Ankiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lille Olimpique Sporting and the Funebreros FC ARG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lille Olimpique Sporting's Juliusz Ankiewicz got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Teodoro Belmiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Ferran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Higinio Azibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Ferran having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Funebreros FC ARG's Higinio Azibar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Ferran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Funebreros FC ARG's Gabriele Verón dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Agustin Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Ferran having to interfere. Funebreros FC ARG's Godfredo Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Araoz in the 70th minute of play. Benigno Rufio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Funebreros FC ARG:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lille Olimpique Sporting:s goal. The referee gave Lille Olimpique Sporting a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abel Erruki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Funebreros FC ARG's Godfredo Ramone. 1-3. Aaron Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Ramone having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Gabriele Verón made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Ferran. Lille Olimpique Sporting's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The supporters of Funebreros FC ARG booed when Lille Olimpique Sporting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Funebreros FC ARG's Bonifacio Pes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inocencio Ferran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lille Olimpique Sporting's zone, Alan Aguilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Ferran came out of the goal and Alan Aguilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lille Olimpique Sporting's Aaron Araoz got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lille Olimpique Sporting's Inocencio Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Pes in the 89th minute of play. If Emilio Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Pes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Aguilar got free with Inocencio Ferran in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriele Verón's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Inocencio Ferran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Lille Olimpique Sporting fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Funebreros FC ARG were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
