Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 0) Saturnino Marino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Saturnino Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Leguizamón in the 8th minute of play forced Piñero's goalkeeper Patricio Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Leguizamón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Umbruso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Mateo Diagur hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Patricio Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Leguizamón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Umbruso having to interfere. Edgardo Garaile kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Humberto Leguizamón scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Umbruso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 minutes, Hilario Ritchie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapis and the Piñero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Mapis got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Ritchie. Patricio Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Leguizamón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mapis's zone, Eusebio Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Lartaun came out of the goal and Eusebio Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Saturnino Marino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Piñero's Patricio Umbruso. Patricio Umbruso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebio Botello made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Isidoro Raebert made a precise shot to the right of Serafino Lartaun. Mapis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Patricio Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Saturnino Marino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Umbruso. Piñero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Marino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 59 minutes into the game, Isidoro Raebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piñero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mapis the free kick. After 59 played minutes Piñero got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Raebert. When Piñero's Eusebio Botello in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mapis's goalie prevented a goal. Serafino Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Lico in the 76th minute of play. Serafino Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Piñero's Patricio Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leguizamón in the 79th minute of play. Saturnino Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Edgard Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Eusebio Botello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 played minutes Mapis got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Cloyo. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eusebio Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piñero's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Botello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Lartaun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mapis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
