Gaudencio Aguilera came out of the goal and Abelardo Beti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Clis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Cirilo Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Stephen's late challenge caught a Morat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Stephen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, CA San Lorenzo de Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Stephen to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CA San Lorenzo de Almagro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Matia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Morat's Cirilo Matia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Jeremias Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 69th minute, Luisito Chan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Aguilera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Jeremias Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Matia in the 74th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Morat's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Chan came free, but Gaudencio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes, CA San Lorenzo de Almagro's Rolando Cristofor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaudencio Aguilera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA San Lorenzo de Almagro reached it. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Justino Guib took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Jeremias Albuquerque to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Morat left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CA San Lorenzo de Almagro.
