Prudencio Jerrold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Marin in the 14th minute of the match. Emanuel Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Prudencio Jerrold made a huge save. Emiliano Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Jerrold having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Enaut. In the 24th minute Emiliano Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Jerrold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Cucullú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Brun to maneuver through the defense. Argentinos Juniors's Emanuel Marin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cucullú FC. In the 30th match minute, Cucullú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Prudencio Jerrold managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Argentinos Juniors's Emiliano Haitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Enaut in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Jerrold saved Cucullú FC from getting behind. Argentinos Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Marin in the 56th minute. Argentinos Juniors's Emanuel Marin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Prudencio Jerrold in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59th minute Emiliano Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Jerrold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cipriano Mon fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cucullú FC's protests and gave Cipriano Mon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute Cayetano Orlanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Jerrold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Cucullú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Marin came free, but Prudencio Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Emiliano Haitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 91 minutes into the match, Cucullú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Orlanda came free, but Prudencio Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
