Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Desiderio Santiago got the match started through his kick off. Genaro Olivar took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Abel. Hugo Abel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Arnaldo Aznaro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Abel. Arnaldo Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hugo Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ovidio Gumaro fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norumbega FC's protests and gave Ovidio Gumaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Norumbega FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Gumaro. Genaro Olivar might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Abel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Olivar ran back to his position shaking his head. When Celso Birjaio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the vegitox fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Birjaio couldn't finish the play. If Genaro Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Niceto Iturri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norumbega FC and the vegitox players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Celso Birjaio made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Abel. Norumbega FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Genaro Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, vegitox's Emilio Ongile got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Aznaro in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Abel saved Norumbega FC from getting behind. With 37 minutes on the clock, Urbano Mannie commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to vegitox getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Urbano Mannie hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Damian Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Norumbega FC's zone, Celso Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Abel came out of the goal and Celso Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Norumbega FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. vegitox were winning 0-3.

If Genaro Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Poncio struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hugo Abel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for vegitox. vegitox's Celso Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Norumbega FC's Hugo Abel got control of the ball when Genaro Olivar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Txindoki in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, vegitox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Ongile to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, one of vegitox:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for vegitox. Rafael Idacio had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Damian Ursino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Ambrosio Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norumbega FC's Gogo Inocente pulled a muscle in his leg after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, vegitox's Emilio Ongile got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute of the match, Celso Birjaio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Abel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Genaro Olivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hugo Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Abel made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Genaro Olivar sent off a good shot on target. When Genaro Olivar came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the vegitox fans jumped to their feet. Hugo Abel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ladislao Poncio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Ladislao Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. vegitox played a much better game than Norumbega FC and deserved their victory. The Norumbega FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
