Selmi Arslanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Humberto Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Severiano Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Patrido hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Severiano Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medanitos AFC's Humberto Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Landeta's Zeledon Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Guillermo Iratxo from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Humberto Marques's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Severiano Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Landeta's Severiano Henry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Marques. Humberto Marques yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Medanitos AFC's Alejo Izel got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Medanitos AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alejo Izel hit a great ball. Severiano Henry who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Marques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Severiano Henry kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 30thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Medanitos AFC's keeper Humberto Marques was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Landeta were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Medanitos AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rene Pero took the corner. After taking down the ball on Landeta's corner Rene Pero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Humberto Marques quite easily take care of the ball. Severiano Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Humberto Marques made a huge save. Humberto Marques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renan Trigo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the game, Guillermo Iratxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Landeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medanitos AFC the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Landeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Pero to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Henry in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Humberto Marques, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Izel to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Guillermo Iratxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 57th minute, Alejo Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Henry's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Severiano Henry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Humberto Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmi Arslanoğlu in the 65th minute of the match. Guillermo Iratxo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Landeta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abelardo Peruxu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd minute, Selmi Arslanoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A collision led to Landeta getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Guillermo Iratxo hit a great ball. During the 78th minute of the match Guillermo Iratxo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guillermo Iratxo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Landeta's Guillermo Iratxo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Aristides Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dario Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Severiano Henry notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Medanitos AFC's Humberto Marques. Humberto Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Landeta's Severiano Henry in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medanitos AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Zeledon Rosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Rosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Landeta fully deserved thier win.
