Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5317, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 141) The audience was convinced that Diego Kismi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Urbez was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. If Horacio Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Donato Gaitan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leopoldo Urbez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th match minute, Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Osoro to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, C.A.Villa Belgrano's goalkeeper Leopoldo Urbez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Theodore. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Garikoitz during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, C.A.Villa Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Baudelio in the 22nd minute of play. Leopoldo Urbez was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Victorino Oskarbi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Oskarbi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Donato Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Urbez. C.A.Villa Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Horacio Baudelio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Resistencia's Patrick Lara. Patrick Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Leopoldo Urbez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Urbez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Oskarbi in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Gaitan in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Oskarbi in the 41st minute of play forced C.A.Villa Belgrano's goalkeeper Leopoldo Urbez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes C.A.Villa Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Garikoitz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Gaitan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Donato Gaitan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Urbez was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Ezequiel Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Urbez having to interfere. In the 60th minute Franck Prichovice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Franck Prichovice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Gervaso struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Patrick Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Villa Belgrano. Leopoldo Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Kismi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Donato Gaitan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Leopoldo Urbez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermengildo Osoro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Fabian Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes, Resistencia's Ricardo Primeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Urbez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Resistencia reached it. When the referee ended the match the Resistencia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
