RIO DE LA PLATA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Tautrimas Oginskis scored to the left of an out of position Fausto Lia, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, RIO DE LA PLATA's Carlos Sindo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Filiberto Ortzi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Americo Palos. Cobra Fútbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tautrimas Oginskis during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cobra Fútbol Club's Tautrimas Oginskis got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Gábor Czibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tautrimas Oginskis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Fausto Lia made a huge save. Ramiro Galsino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Palos having to interfere. In the 28th minute Govert Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cobra Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benedicto Ugaitz hit a great ball. RIO DE LA PLATA were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Cobra Fútbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filiberto Ortzi took the corner. Americo Palos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Ranolfo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Eusebio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. RIO DE LA PLATA's Fausto Lia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save RIO DE LA PLATA from getting a goal against them. Cobra Fútbol Club's Gábor Czibor was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gábor Czibor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fausto Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gábor Czibor in the 52nd minute of play. Fausto Lia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Franco's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Eusebio Franco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Lia. RIO DE LA PLATA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Franco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 65th minute, Gábor Czibor made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Lia. RIO DE LA PLATA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Fabricio Gomesano charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Gomesano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octavio Acevedo's late challenge caught a Cobra Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Acevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, RIO DE LA PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Cobra Fútbol Club's Victor Skogen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Lia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Eusebio Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Lia having to interfere. Cobra Fútbol Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of RIO DE LA PLATA for a fine match.
