Casey's Fausto Quirze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Casey from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Casey's Amadeo Tipi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernan Espiridion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Constantino Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Salinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Diegotxe came free, but Fernan Espiridion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salinas AFC's Nereo Medina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eustacio Sengrat, made in the 21st minute of the game. Fausto Quirze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Argenis's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Argenis during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes, Casey's Constantino Behe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernan Espiridion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Fernan Espiridion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Fernan Espiridion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amadeo Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Espiridion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Tipi in the 40th minute of play. Jonas Argenis in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fausto Quirze, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Casey's zone, Jonas Argenis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Quirze came out of the goal and Jonas Argenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Diegotxe was the one to do the kick off. Melquiades Ponciano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Nemesio Argi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casey's Amadeo Tipi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Nicanor Fonda fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casey's protests and gave Nicanor Fonda a yellow card for diving instead. Fausto Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Fernan Espiridion managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Casey's Amadeo Tipi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Diegotxe in the 77th minute of play forced Salinas AFC's goalkeeper Fernan Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Salinas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Quintun. The long shot by Eustaquio Huly in the 88th minute really tested Fernan Espiridion's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 91st minute Mauricio Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Espiridion made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Israel Crispo sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute Casey were awarded a corner. Eustaquio Huly went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Casey's corner Nicanor Fonda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernan Espiridion quite easily take care of the ball.
