Venancio Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The long shot by Daniel Constancio in the 24th minute really tested Venancio Teofilio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Carril's Luciano Joey got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Constancio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Silvestre Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bernardino Iraido took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Quinto. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Urtats was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Michael threw the ball into play from the sideline. Argentinos jrs.'s Amancio Farias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Venancio Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Carril's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Urtats came free, but Venancio Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Quinto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Bernardino Iraido sent off a good shot on target. Didi Oliveira took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Teofilio. Venancio Teofilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Bernardino Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carril's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Iraido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Quinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 minutes of play, Argentinos jrs.'s Fausto Urtats made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Teofilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Carril getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Blas Llorienzo hit a great ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carril's goalkeeper Venancio Teofilio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Carril's goalie and right to Didi Oliveira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Carril's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 92nd minute, Bernardino Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argentinos jrs.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
