Ariel Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alonzo Segio struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ariel Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curacó. If Alonzo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Gonsalvo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Enzo Gonsalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ariel Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Enzo Gonsalvo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Lomas United's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Segio came free, but Ariel Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Curacó's Enzo Gonsalvo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lomas United's zone, Enzo Gonsalvo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Romero came out of the goal and Enzo Gonsalvo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Curacó's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Corderall came free, but Cleto Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Gonsalvo made a kick off. In the 58th minute Eusebio Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Segio went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 66 minutes, Augusto Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curacó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Corderall scored 5-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Naike, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Alonzo Segio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Romero having to make a save. In the 83rd minute of the match, Eusebio Rosio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cleto Naike saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alonzo Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Romero having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match, Anacleto Corderall got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cleto Naike was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Gonsalvo in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Romero saved Lomas United from getting behind.
