Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Arsenio Mannie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, LACAAGUAZU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Venerando to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Arsenio Mannie took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Feliciano Gervaso to make any attempt to save it. Arsenio Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aldo Venerando hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Arsenio Mannie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliciano Gervaso. The goal made the score 2-0. Ariel Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Feliciano Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Ieltxu's late challenge caught a LACAAGUAZU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Ieltxu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LACAAGUAZU booed when MITRE ATLETIC CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Ieltxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Barto came free, but Roman Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Luciano Ieltxu got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Arsenio Mannie notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of LACAAGUAZU's Feliciano Gervaso. Feliciano Gervaso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stan Carragher in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Gervaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, LACAAGUAZU's Feliciano Gervaso got control of the ball when Arsenio Mannie tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Lalla during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes LACAAGUAZU got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Lalla. The attack was good, but when Arsenio Mannie in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Stan Carragher struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Feliciano Gervaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MITRE ATLETIC CLUB. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Mannie got free with Feliciano Gervaso in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Gervaso came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Ariel Guzman. But to his dismay, Ariel Guzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jairo Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Luciano Ieltxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MITRE ATLETIC CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. 80 minutes into the match, LACAAGUAZU's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Mannie came free, but Feliciano Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LACAAGUAZU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Mannie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. 92 minutes into the match, MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Stan Carragher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliciano Gervaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Arsenio Mannie in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LACAAGUAZU's goalie prevented a goal.
