An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Barros in the 29th minute of play forced Guandacol AFC's goalkeeper David Jorrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aureliano Barros came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Providencia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Barros couldn't finish the play. Guandacol AFC's David Jorrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Berdaitz in the 37th minute of play. David Jorrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Barros in the 40th minute of play. Delmiro Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. David Jorrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Delmiro Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. Providencia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Jacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Jorrin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Delmiro Jacob kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Jorrin. That made the score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Delmiro Jacob who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guandacol AFC's David Jorrin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 minutes, Baldomero Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guandacol AFC and the Providencia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Providencia FC booed when Guandacol AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Delmiro Jacob lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated David Jorrin. David Jorrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Jacob in the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Jacob in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Jorrin saved Guandacol AFC from getting behind. Benjamin Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aureliano Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Providencia FC played a much better game than Guandacol AFC and deserved their victory. The Guandacol AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
