Saul Clemencin charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Clemencin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Patricio Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldey's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Arlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Peruxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute Daniel Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Jescos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Anier Peruxu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Niceto Panpili struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Anier Peruxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goldey. Anier Peruxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Jesco in the 15th minute. Patricio Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anier Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner was taken by Patricio Arlo in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Patricio Arlo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maimará FC's Anier Peruxu did a great save. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maimará FC's goalkeeper Anier Peruxu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicasio Jesco took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Peruxu. Anier Peruxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Niceto Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Peruxu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maimará FC's zone, Patricio Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Peruxu came out of the goal and Patricio Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicasio Jesco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Arlo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Maimará FC's Eliseo Txaran got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Goldey's zone, Daniel Bonifaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Xabier came out of the goal and Daniel Bonifaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Frans got free with Donato Xabier in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Goldey getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Niceto Panpili hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Goldey's Patricio Arlo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Damaso Frans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Donato Xabier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Nicasio Jesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maimará FC's Anier Peruxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Xabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Frans in the 77th minute. After 79 minutes, Nicasio Jesco made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maimará FC's Anier Peruxu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Xabier having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Patricio Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goldey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Arlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Anier Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goldey's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
