With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Acuña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Min took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfredo Acuña. Wilfredo Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adolfo Goyo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvestre Ignazio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Carolo Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, CIRROSIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Goren to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Acuña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Ignazio's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CIRROSIS's zone, Silvestre Ignazio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 69 played minutes CIRROSIS got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Goren. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Fermin Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguazú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Acuña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Acuña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Min, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to CIRROSIS getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fabio Goren hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Min kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilfredo Acuña. That made the score 1-5 in the 79 minute of play. Wilfredo Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Ignazio in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Norberto Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Acuña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Wilfredo Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iguazú FC played a much better game than CIRROSIS and deserved their victory. The CIRROSIS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
