Celestino Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ladislao Tximitx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Gaspar Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Sanson was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Castelar AFC's Astor Llin got a free kick in the 54th minute. With an all-out effort, Virreyes AFC's Celestino Selatse threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Narciso Lando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Celestino Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Lando in the 73rd minute of the match. When the match was over Virreyes AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Castelar AFC throughout the match.
