Alejo Txanton might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Frichoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Txanton ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejo Txanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Niceto Lesardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Princesas's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Lesardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matteo De Mol in the 28th minute of play. Alejo Txanton's late challenge caught a Salazar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matteo De Mol in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Salazar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Eder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ivan Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Eder got free with Ivan Jurgi in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salazar FC's Julio Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo De Mol in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Las Princesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Txanton to maneuver through the defense. Las Princesas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
