The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Efraim during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Deportivo Pata Dura got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Efraim. Feliciano George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Severiano Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Ilixo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Isaac Terciero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Urtzi skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Bilintx in the 25th minute of play forced Deportivo Pata Dura's goalkeeper Severiano Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Damian Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Bilintx to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Bombal got a corner. Deportivo Pata Dura's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isaac Terciero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hector Seme made a great header on Bombal's corner, it was just that Deportivo Pata Dura's Severiano Urtzi managed to reach the ball for a save. Severiano Urtzi came out of the goal and Sergio Bilintx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Sergio Bilintx tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severiano Urtzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 93 minutes, Sergio Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bombal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severiano Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Bilintx in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
