The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Cidro got free with Victoriano Gaur in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Valenzuela's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Rafe came free, but Faustino Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Chusca AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Gaur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Cidro. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Cidro was the one to do the kick off. Chusca AFC's Victoriano Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Cidro in the 52nd minute of play. The Valenzuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
