Benedicto Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Toro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Erruki having to make a save. Benedicto Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Herminio Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Alfredo Egoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valenzuela and the Ledesma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valenzuela's Alfredo Egoi got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Enzo Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Severo Eutropio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Faustino Gagriel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedicto Cidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Erruki having to interfere. Santos Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Marciano Belarmo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Severo Eutropio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ledesma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valenzuela the free kick. In the 36th minute, Severo Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Faustino Gagriel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ledesma. The supporters of Ledesma booed when Valenzuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Egoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Paulo Eron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valenzuela and the Ledesma players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Eron kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Cidro was the one to do the kick off. Abel Abel's late challenge caught a Ledesma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Abel helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Valenzuela got a freekick which was hit by Abel Abel. If Augusto Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Izotz in the 54th minute of play forced Valenzuela's goalkeeper Faustino Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Cidro in the 56th minute of play. Benedicto Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. After 73 minutes of play, Ledesma's Severo Eutropio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Gagriel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herminio Erruki was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Benedicto Cidro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedicto Cidro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Benedicto Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ledesma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Valenzuela's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ledesma had won, even though Valenzuela had held more of the ball.
