The referee showed Jose Jobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Borracho y Cervecero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Jobo to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes, Elvio Pelagius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC and the Borracho y Cervecero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Pelagius. ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC's Carmelo Frances proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 29 in the game by Erasmo Milio from a close distance when the talented Carmelo Frances managed to make a qualified save. ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Javier Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borracho y Cervecero's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Nesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Frances breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC's Carmelo Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Jobo in the 35th minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Jose Jobo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Borracho y Cervecero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerhardt Obæk to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Rohrer to strike the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Milio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC's Carmelo Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Rohrer in the 56th minute of play. Carmelo Frances came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Borracho y Cervecero's Douglas Rohrer. But to his dismay, Douglas Rohrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Douglas Rohrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Frances having to interfere. Carmelo Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Jobo in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Hugo Cordaryal notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Borracho y Cervecero's Eleuterio Cuarto. Eleuterio Cuarto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Borracho y Cervecero booed when ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC! The referee gave Borracho y Cervecero a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serafino Inautzi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC's Carmelo Frances. 5-1. Erasmo Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Seber's late challenge caught a Borracho y Cervecero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Seber helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ATAHUALPA YUPANQUI FC's Freddy Seber got a free kick in the 94th minute. Douglas Rohrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerhardt Obæk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borracho y Cervecero walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
