The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Piearres in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Dolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes Meridiano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Salvino. In the 10thth minute of the game Leonides Rencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabildo's Eustacio Rik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Celso Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabildo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Telesforo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rene Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Telesforo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Dolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Piearres, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Meridiano AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Flavio Rubio hit a great ball. Rene Dolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardino Gorri went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Cabildo's goalkeeper Eustacio Rik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Rubio. After 26 played minutes Cabildo got a freekick which was hit by Celso Telesforo. In the 32nd match minute, Cabildo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Rik made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Leonides Rencio sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Cabildo's Guillermo Piearres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Dolfo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 38 minutes of play, Cabildo's Bernardino Gorri made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Dolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Meridiano AFC booed when Cabildo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Meridiano AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cabildo were winning 1-2.

Flavio Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Rik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Rencio in the 54th minute of play. Rene Dolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Gorri in the 56th minute. Celso Telesforo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 57th playminute. If Nereo Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Rik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Rencio in the 62nd minute of the match. Eustacio Rik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Rencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Flavio Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Rik having to interfere. Meridiano AFC's Rene Dolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Piearres in the 72nd minute of play. The Meridiano AFC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Meridiano AFC's Leonides Rencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 84 played minutes Meridiano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Oihenarte. After 85 played minutes Cabildo got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Gorri. Bernardino Gorri hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Eustacio Rik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Rencio in the 90th minute of play. Rene Dolfo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Celso Telesforo sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Rubio struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eustacio Rik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meridiano AFC.
