Ruben Bonadona started the match with the kick off. Samuel Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Quadros in the 4th minute of play. Samuel Ubarna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Quadros in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Chumo got free with Samuel Ubarna in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 29th match minute, cañuelas fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Jerano to maneuver through the defense. ATD's Samuel Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Erramu in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ATD's Blas Colon got a free kick in the 37th minute. Benigno Erramu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Samuel Ubarna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for cañuelas fc. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nicolas Viviano made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Blas Colon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATD and the cañuelas fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ATD getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Blas Colon hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Alejandro Chumo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Ubarna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Benigno Erramu might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Ubarna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Erramu ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Liher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Gonsalvo having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Nicolas Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. cañuelas fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Viviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Ubarna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Nicolas Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ATD's Blas Colon got a free kick in the 86th minute. Samuel Ubarna came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by cañuelas fc's Nicolas Viviano. But to his dismay, Nicolas Viviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee ended the match the cañuelas fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
