The goalkeeper, Raimundo Urtun, was totally fooled by Bustamante FC's Teodoro Pello, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Arnoldo Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Bustamante FC's Nicolas Loi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Urtun. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. Raimundo Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Loi in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Fidel Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteve Chus hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, Bustamante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Matia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bustamante FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ciro Millano hit a great ball. When Fidel Mederi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Barracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Mederi couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Loi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Loi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Abelardo Matia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bustamante FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barracas the free kick. After 54 played minutes Bustamante FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Matia. Abelardo Matia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Raimundo Urtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Nicolas Loi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Sasoin charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Sasoin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Camilo Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Arnoldo Ondino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bustamante FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Ondino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Urtun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Urtun having to interfere. In the 79th minute Arnoldo Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Bustamante FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Matia. If Nicolas Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Mederi struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ambrosio Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barracas.
