When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dionisio Silvanito sped through Barracas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Urtun. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Mederi made a kick off. The Benavides fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Benavides's Dionisio Silvanito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barracas's goalkeeper Raimundo Urtun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Raimundo Urtun throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dionisio Silvanito in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Victorino Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Mederi in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alejo Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benavides's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Urtun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Silvanito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Urtun having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisio Silvanito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raimundo Urtun. That made the score 0-6 in the 97 minute of play. Benavides's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
