Benavides's Victorino Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Pero in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Benavides got a freekick which was hit by Americo Nesor. 19 minutes into the match, Benavides's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Hitzeder came free, but Victorino Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Felipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Bero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Benavides's Dionisio Silvanito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Bero. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Victorino Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Gonzo in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Muten's Pedro Handi got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Pero in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Bordat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Nesor in the 40th minute of play forced Muten's goalkeeper Ernesto Bero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Benavides was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Araoz to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Handi, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 45th minute, Nicanor Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Pero in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Bordat saved Benavides from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Silvanito to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Felipo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Bero saved Muten from getting behind. Dalmacio Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Lucas Abar made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Bero. Muten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Victorino Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Hitzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Benavides's goalkeeper Victorino Bordat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Pero. Ernesto Bero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Nesor in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Muten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Hitzeder to maneuver through the defense. Muten's Ernesto Bero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Pancho in the 71st minute of play. Ernesto Bero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Felipo in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Muten's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Silvanito came free, but Ernesto Bero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Tadeo Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ladislao Pero sped through Benavides's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victorino Bordat. In the 86th match minute, Benavides was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Araoz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Alejo Felipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Bero was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Americo Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Bero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
