The shot was stopped by Alberto Simonetti but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Domiku in the 16th minute of play forced Resto del Mundo's goalkeeper Moises Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Min during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Médano FC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Min. Silvio Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Martinez having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Silvio Bermudez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Martinez was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Moises Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Bermudez in the 26th minute of the match. Moises Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Atilano Domiku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toni Morales hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Resto del Mundo booed when Médano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Min didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Damian Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Resto del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Forsberg came free, but Moises Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Alvin Forsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moises Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvin Forsberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alvin Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Moises Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Médano FC. Gaudencio Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alberto Simonetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Domiku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Bermudez got free with Moises Martinez in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Martinez having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Médano FC's Epifanio Urtungo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moises Martinez. That made the score 0-2 after 84 minutes of play. Damian Min hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Alvin Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvio Bermudez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Moises Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Resto del Mundo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Médano FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
