Moises Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Monasterio FC's Orlando Baladi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moises Martinez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Resto del Mundo's Moises Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Ilixo in the 20th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Arnulfo Soter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resto del Mundo's Moises Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orlando Baladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Baladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Arnulfo Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monasterio FC's Orlando Baladi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monasterio FC's Jacobo Walme got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Candido Montrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resto del Mundo. Monasterio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Baladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Resto del Mundo's goalkeeper Moises Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Soter. Narciso Ilixo's late challenge caught a Resto del Mundo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Ilixo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Resto del Mundo booed when Monasterio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Soter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moises Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Resto del Mundo's Moises Martinez got control of the ball when Arnulfo Soter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Resto del Mundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. Monasterio FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
