Efrain Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Academia F.C booed when El meson Hostigado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Praski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Ponce's late challenge caught a Academia F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Ponce helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El meson Hostigado's Samuel Ponce got a free kick in the 7th minute. Adolfo Primo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Ponce in the 11th minute. If Cristobal Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El meson Hostigado's Ciriaco Indalecio suffered a sore knee after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Academia F.C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Stefano Witting hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Severo Fonso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adolfo Primo. Severo Fonso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Academia F.C's zone, Severo Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Primo came out of the goal and Severo Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Academia F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cecilio Valentine hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, El meson Hostigado's Domingo Flor got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th play minute Cristobal Gaur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adolfo Primo. 2-0. Mariano Laurgain hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Severo Fonso struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Adolfo Primo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El meson Hostigado. After 33 minutes of play, Academia F.C's Cleto Errolan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Fagondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, El meson Hostigado's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Cristofol came free, but Efrain Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Errolan scored 2-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Fagondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cecilio Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Academia F.C's Cleto Errolan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cecilio Valentine scored 2-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Fagondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Fagondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Errolan in the 56th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Efrain Fagondo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 66 minutes of play, Academia F.C's Cecilio Valentine made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Fagondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adolfo Primo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristobal Gaur went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. In the 79th match minute, Academia F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Witting to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Cecilio Valentine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Fagondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. In the 89th minute, Academia F.C's Elias Cristofol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Fagondo. Efrain Fagondo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-7. When the final whistle sounded Academia F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El meson Hostigado.
